手仕事のうつわを生み出す、小さな窯元から

京都・勧修寺のほど近くにある窯元「大日窯」。

父・竹村繁男さんとともに、陽太郎さんが手がけるうつわは、清水焼の伝統に寄り添いながらも、現代の暮らしにすっとなじむものばかりです。

自然の素材を活かした釉薬と、丁寧な手仕事。静かな山あいの工房で、一点ずつ大切に作られています。

空や海を映したような、碧のグラデーション

代表作〈碧釉〉シリーズは、まるで空や海を閉じ込めたような、澄んだ青が印象的。

トルコブルーをベースに、淡い水色から深い藍色まで、釉薬が溶け合うように流れます。

すべて手作業で仕上げられており、釉薬のにじみや色の出方はそれぞれ異なり、ひとつとして同じものはありません。

光の当たり方や角度によっても、表情が変わる美しいうつわです。

とても美しいグラデーションの抹茶碗、素晴らしい逸品です。

外側は深海のような濃紺から、淡い蒼に代わる複雑な色彩。内側は美しい海を覗き込んだような色相です。

若い名工の渾身のうつわをぜひお手元に。
