From a Hidden Workshop Preserving Artisan Traditions
Nestled near the historic Kajū-ji Temple in Kyoto, the "Dainichi Kiln" is a small, family-run studio. Here, Yotaro Takemura works alongside his father, Shigeo, creating ceramic pieces that honor the traditional heritage of Kiyomizu-yaki while seamlessly fitting into modern lifestyles.
Using glazes derived from natural materials, each handmade piece is carefully crafted in their quiet mountain studio, carrying the soul of Japan’s pottery capital.

A Celestial Gradient of Sea and Sky
The signature "Heikyu" (Azure Glaze) series is known for its stunning blue tones that seem to capture the very essence of the ocean and sky. Starting with a vibrant turquoise base, the glaze flows effortlessly from pale aqua to deep indigo.
Because every bowl is finished by hand, the bleeding of colors and the final hue are unique to each piece—no two are exactly alike. It is a breathtaking ceramic work that shifts in expression depending on the light and angle.

Elevating Your Daily Tea Ritual
This Matcha bowl brings a sense of quiet luxury to your everyday life. Its form fits naturally in your hands, while the mesmerizing colors provide a striking contrast that makes the vibrant green of your Matcha truly "pop."
Perfect for a formal traditional ceremony or a mindful moment of peace at home, this handmade bowl invites you to slow down and find tranquility in every sip.

Presented in an Artist-Signed Wooden Box
Your Matcha bowl will be delivered in a traditional wooden box (Tomobako), specially crafted for this series and hand-inscribed by Yotaro Takemura. It is an exceptional choice for your private collection or as a prestigious gift for someone special.
