    楽焼は約400年前、千利休の求めによって京都で生まれた焼き物だ。轆轤を使わず手で形を作り、低温・短時間で焼き上げるその技法は、不完全さの中に美を見出す茶の湯の思想を体現している。 京都・山科で約100年続く楽入窯。3代目・吉村楽入は、「用いるための美」を軸にしながら、絵付けによる新しい表現にも取り組んでいる。
