京焼・清水焼窯元「岩華窯」の当主、高木竜太が手がける碧釉のうつわ。

目を引くのは、トルコブルーを思わせる鮮やかで澄んだ青。深い海や晴れわたる空を思わせる美しい色彩が、器いっぱいに広がります。

光を受けることで青の濃淡や艶が際立ち、見る角度によってさまざまな表情を楽しませてくれます。

京都と沖縄から生まれた独自の釉薬

京都で伝統的な陶芸の技術を学び、その後、沖縄で修業を重ねた高木氏。

異なる土地で培った経験と感性をもとに独自に調合した釉薬が、この印象的な碧を生み出しています。

京焼・清水焼の技術を礎としながら、沖縄で触れた風土や焼き物の感覚を取り入れることで生まれた、高木竜太ならではの色彩です。

 

一点ごとに生まれる碧の景色

碧釉の魅力は、単に鮮やかな青色だけではありません。

窯の中で釉薬が溶けて流れることで、厚く溜まったところには深い青、薄いところには明るく軽やかな青が現れます。その自然な濃淡や揺らぎは、一つとしてまったく同じものにはなりません。

鮮やかな色彩の中に、釉薬ならではの奥行きと静けさを感じられる碧釉。高木竜太が生み出す、一点ごとの青の表情をお楽しみください。

たっぷりとした深さと容量があり、抹茶碗としてはもちろん、大きめのカフェオレボウルとしても使える自由度の高い器。両手で包み込むように持ちながら、抹茶やカフェオレをゆっくり楽しむのもおすすめです。
