This is a matcha bowl by Ichinyo featuring a bamboo forest depicted on deep purple Kochi glaze.

On the glossy purple base, slender bamboo stalks are delicately painted, capturing the quiet scene of a spreading bamboo forest. Straight-growing bamboo has long been cherished as an auspicious motif symbolizing vitality and growth.

It is an elegant bowl where the vivid colors unique to Kochi and the dignified atmosphere of the bamboo forest harmonize.
