Born into a family of Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware artisans, Sawada developed a passion for ceramics at an early age. Now in his 30s and with over 20 years of experience, he is a master craftsman blending youthful creativity with traditional techniques.

Sawada's series features charming animal designs that are realistic yet warm and inviting. Each piece is carefully handcrafted and shaped for everyday use, with a milky-white glaze that highlights the rustic texture of traditional pottery.
