The Harmony of Traditional Craftsmanship and Modern Design

This rice bowl, crafted by Ganka Kiln, a Kyoto-based pottery studio specializing in Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware, combines traditional Kyoto ceramic techniques with a modern design that is both elegant and timeless.

The linework, drawn with iron oxide, is simple yet has a strong presence, perfectly balancing traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities.

While it evokes a sense of nostalgia, the design naturally fits into modern life, quietly complementing your everyday dining table.

Its beautiful form enhances the presentation of any dish, making it perfect for a wide range of cuisines, both Japanese and international.
