This is a vibrant matcha bowl from Shunzan Kiln, adorned with colorful flowers filling the entire vessel.

The flowers are carefully outlined with "ittchin" (slip-trailing) and then overlaid with gold gilding, creating a three-dimensional effect and an elegant sparkle. The softly colored flowers overlap in layers, resulting in a graceful and gentle atmosphere.

This bowl is a highlight of delicate decorative techniques combining "ittchin" and gold gilding. It is a work truly characteristic of Shunzan Kiln, possessing both splendor and dignity.
