A word from the owner

This is a matcha bowl by Ryoji, featuring a soft landscape created by ash glaze divisions, with a susuki grass motif.

The natural expressions woven by different glazes add depth to the bowl, and the susuki grass depicted on it evokes a scene of an autumn field. Susuki, swaying in the wind, has long been a beloved motif symbolizing autumn.

This bowl is a harmonious blend of rustic warmth and seasonal design. It is a work that perfectly suits a tea ceremony where one wishes to quietly enjoy autumn.
