店主のコメント

天目茶碗の名工・桶谷定一による、禾目天目（のぎめてんもく）の抹茶碗です。

美しい禾目模様と深みのある色彩が現れた完成度の高い作品ですが、外側に釉溜まりが生じたため、通常であれば世に出ることのなかった一碗です。そのため、一般的な作品とは異なる個性を持つ一点となっています。

釉溜まりも景色の一つとして受け入れ、その個性を楽しめる方におすすめしたい作品。名工・桶谷定一ならではの天目釉の美しさを味わえる、特別な一碗です。
