This is a cylindrical matcha bowl featuring a "deer and cherry blossoms" design on a deep, almost black, purple Kochi ware base.

On a deep purple ground reminiscent of a quiet night, deer and cherry blossoms in full bloom are depicted, expressing a fantastical spring scenery. Deer have long been revered as sacred creatures. The combination with flamboyant cherry blossoms adds elegance to the calmness.

The dignified appearance unique to the cylindrical shape is also beautiful, resulting in a prominent bowl.
