Exquisite Kyoto Matcha Bowl

Vibrant Artistry: A Matcha Bowl Crafted by a Master’s Hand

In the historic heart of Uji, Kyoto, master artisan Ichinyo Yamamoto brings over half a century of expertise to his craft. This stunning ceramic Matcha bowl is more than just a vessel; it is a vibrant work of art that elevates your daily rituals into something truly extraordinary.

Whether you are treating yourself to a moment of mindfulness or seeking a meaningful anniversary gift, this handmade masterpiece brings the soul of Japanese pottery into your home.

Handmade Ceramic Art

The Vivid Colors and Texture of Kochi Glaze

The hallmark of this piece is its breathtaking, translucent color palette. Utilizing the traditional "Kochi" glazing technique unique to Japan, the bowl features a one-of-a-kind brilliance that catches the light from every angle.

The intricate, raised patterns that frame the designs are meticulously applied by hand, one by one. This three-dimensional texture is a testament to the sophisticated skill and delicate craftsmanship that define high-end Kyo-yaki ware.

Masterpiece from Kyoto

Timeless Beauty for Modern Living

Combining decades of experience with a refined aesthetic, this ceramic bowl is a true traditional masterpiece. While perfect for a formal tea ceremony, its striking presence also makes it a sophisticated choice for serving elegant desserts, a morning latte, or simply as an eye-catching centerpiece on your shelf.

Japanese Hospitality

Authentic Wooden Gift Box

To preserve its beauty and heritage, this Matcha bowl arrives in a custom-crafted wooden box. The calligraphy on the lid is hand-signed by the artist himself, serving as a certificate of authenticity and adding immense value to the piece.

It makes for a prestigious gift for weddings, housewarmings, or any milestone celebration where you wish to share a piece of Japan’s rich cultural heart.

*Please note: As each wooden box is custom-made, please allow up to 2 weeks for preparation.

Absolutely exquisite! I know very little about Kyoto ceramics, and had initially eyed it for its aesthetics. Am beginning to learn the many difficult and complex elements it implemented. Honoured to own this piece by Ichinyo. Thank you Kotopotter.

I had been searching for a tea bowl featuring Fujin and Raijin (the gods of wind and thunder) to match my thunder-themed tea caddy.

I've always liked slip-trailing designs, but I really love the arrangement and composition of this tea bowl.

Thank you so much for this wonderful item.

この度はお買い求めいただきありがとうございました。
またの御利用を心よりお待ちしております。
