"Midnight Song of Wu – Autumn Song" by Li Bai

The moon over Chang’an spreads far and wide,

Echoes of laundry beat from every home at night.

The autumn wind stirs endlessly,

Carrying sorrow from the borderlands.

When will the war end and the soldiers return?

When will the long campaign be over?

Owner's Comment

This handcrafted beer cup is inspired by a famous Chinese poem by Li Bai. The golden full moon depicted on the cup reflects the poem’s autumnal mood and timeless longing.

The inside has a textured finish that helps maintain beer foam, making this not only a work of art but also a highly functional piece of handmade Japanese pottery.
