淡い桃色の交趾（こうち）に、「宝尽七宝紋」を描いた筒型の抹茶碗です。

器全体を埋め尽くすように七宝文様を重ね、その中に宝尽くしの意匠を描き込んだ、非常に華やかな一碗。宝尽くしは、打出の小槌や宝袋、巻物など、さまざまな宝物を組み合わせた吉祥文様で、福徳や繁栄への願いが込められています。

やわらかな淡桃色の地に細密な装飾を重ねることで、可憐さと格調高さを兼ね備えた仕上がりに。筒型ならではの凛とした佇まいも美しい作品です。
