These plates are handcrafted by Miyuki Matoba of nagusa, a pottery studio in Yamashina, Kyoto. She named her studio “nagusa,” meaning “nameless grass,” to express her desire to create ceramics that blend naturally into daily life.

The result is a pair of small plates full of warmth and charm, perfect for daily dining and teatime.
