楽焼ならではのやわらかな土味と侘びた風合いが魅力の平抹茶碗です。

器には蟹を模した立体的な装飾をあしらい、筆でさっと描かれた芦が涼やかな景色を添えています。簡潔な筆致だからこそ、夏の水辺を思わせる風情が印象的に表現されています。

平たい形状は夏茶碗らしい開放感があり、見た目にも涼を感じられる一碗。楽焼の素朴な味わいと遊び心のある意匠を楽しめる作品です。
