Elegant Hand-painted Matcha Bowl from Kyoto
This handmade Kyoto matcha bowl depicts a rabbit gazing up at a golden moon — a motif deeply rooted in Japanese autumn traditions and poetry. The contrast between the warm gold and the muted glaze expresses tranquility and grace.
Each delicate brushstroke reveals the artist’s mastery of the Iroe (colored overglaze) technique, a hallmark of Kyoto pottery handed down through generations.
The graceful curves shaped on the potter’s wheel reflect both technical precision and a deep reverence for nature, blending Japanese craftsmanship and aesthetic refinement in one timeless piece.

Bringing the Spirit of Autumn to Your Tea Moments
Perfect for a formal tea ceremony or for quiet moments of reflection at home, this hand-painted Japanese ceramic bowl evokes the serenity of autumn nights under the moonlight.
When displayed, the golden tones and soft texture add depth and warmth to any space, reminding you of Kyoto’s poetic seasonal beauty.
The elevated foot and smooth form make it comfortable to hold — a piece designed not only for use but also to invite mindfulness and calm.
