Refined ceramic beauty that brings comfort to everyday life.
Toukoubo Houki is a small traditional pottery studio located in Kutsukake, Kyoto, run by ceramic artist Shoichi Houki and his wife, Yoko.
Yoko Houki’s handmade pottery pieces are loved for their charming, delicate appearance and the care that goes into each creation—reflecting the essence of handmade Japanese ceramics.

Modern elegance
with a touch of nostalgic warmth.
The bowl’s surface is adorned with floral patterns created using Mishima—a traditional Japanese technique where motifs are pressed into the clay before glazing.
Each flower is hand-painted in soft tones, and delicate touches of gold enhance the gentle beauty of the design.
This handmade Kyoto ceramic bowl combines subtle elegance with a sense of joy—perfect for bringing a little extra charm to everyday meals.
