Refined ceramic artistry that brings form and function together.
Toukoubo Houki is a small, family-run pottery studio located in Kutsukake, Kyoto, operated by ceramic artist Shoichi Houki and his wife, Yoko.
Yoko Houki’s handmade pieces are cherished for their adorable charm and meticulous craftsmanship—embodying the spirit of traditional Japanese pottery.

Modern beauty
with a nostalgic, familiar warmth.
The surface is decorated with floral designs created using Mishima, a traditional Japanese ceramic technique in which patterns are impressed into clay before glazing.
Each blossom is hand-painted with gentle colors, and subtle gold highlights add an elegant touch of sparkle.
This handmade Kyoto ceramic piece beautifully blends refined craftsmanship with playful charm—bringing a soft accent to your everyday table.
