The Crystal of Nature and Craftsmanship

The One-of-a-Kind Tenmoku

Yoshinori Izumi works quietly at his studio in the serene mountains of northern Kyoto, dedicating himself to the craft of pottery.

Using unique glazing techniques, his works are created with an exceptional beauty that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Each piece has its own distinct expression, born from subtle variations in glaze temperature and composition, making each a rare treasure that cannot be replicated.

Beautifully crafted using carefully selected clays and glazes, the gradient colors of this ware offer new discoveries and experiences every time you use it.

The unique colors and textures are the result of Yoshinori Izumi's years of experience and dedication to his craft, making each piece an extraordinary work of art.

Owner's Comment

This slightly larger teacup is perfect for tea, as well as for serving sake or shochu on the rocks.

The gradient colors, reminiscent of a shooting star, are beautiful, capturing the essence of pottery craftsmanship.

The colors, created through the glaze's special properties, will not fade or deteriorate over time.
