Realistic yet endearing, these pieces bring charm to your table.
Takunobu Sawada runs his pottery studio in Nantan City, Kyoto, an area that preserves the beauty of traditional rural landscapes.
With a father who is a Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-ware potter, Sawada has had a deep passion for ceramics since childhood. Now in his 30s, he has been practicing pottery for 20 years and has reached a high level of mastery.
With youthful creativity and refined technique, Sawada produces distinctive pottery that is full of originality. We invite you to bring his one-of-a-kind pieces into your home.
The animal illustrations are created not with a brush but by carving into the clay, giving each piece a unique texture and warmth.
With a father who is a potter, Sawada has been deeply interested in ceramics from a young age. Now in his 30s, he has been creating pottery for 20 years and is considered an experienced artisan.
With a keen sense of youth and skilled craftsmanship, Sawada creates pottery full of originality. We invite you to enjoy his unique creations at home.
