In the serene countryside of Nantan, Kyoto, ceramic artist Takanobu Sawada creates traditional Japanese pottery inspired by nature and wildlife.

Born to a family of Kyoto ceramic artists specializing in Kyo and Kiyomizu ware, Sawada has been immersed in pottery since childhood. With over 20 years of experience, he blends skilled technique with youthful creativity.
