Owner’s Comment

This Mukozuke plate is a reproduction of Ogata Kenzan’s celebrated chrysanthemum design, one of his most refined creations.

The petal-shaped rim and hand-painted details capture the elegant spirit of the Rimpa school, evoking the graceful aesthetics of Edo-period Kyoto.

With its slight height and sculptural form, this handmade Kyoto pottery enhances the beauty of any dish — from traditional Japanese cuisine to contemporary desserts.
