Owner’s Comment

This matcha bowl features the traditional “First Dream” motif—Mount Fuji, a hawk, and an eggplant— painted with simple, confident brushwork.

Long regarded in Japan as symbols of good fortune, these motifs are quietly incorporated into the design.

Clean and understated in impression, this bowl is especially well suited for New Year tea gatherings.
