Yasunori Maeda

  • Born in Kyoto in 1959, the second son of potter Masanori Maeda
  • Studied pottery under his father, while also studying sculpture with Professor Kakuji Yamamoto, Honorary Professor of Kyoto City University of Arts
  • In 1995, became independent from Goun Maeda and established his own kiln in Nishinoyama, Yamashina Ward, Kyoto
