About the Artist
Oguratei Kiln
- 1944: Born in Kyoto, Japan
- 1962: Graduated from the ceramics course at Hiyoshigaoka High School
- 1963: Completed training at Kyoto Ceramic Training School
- 1965: Graduated from the Kyoto Industrial Research Institute
- 1969: Participated in the founding of the Sumiyama Craft Village
- 1974: Held first solo exhibition (Kyoto Kiku Art Gallery)
- 1992: Certified as a Traditional Craftsperson
- 2012: Passed away
Reiko Ogura
- 1975: Born in Sumiyama, Uji City, Kyoto
- 1999: Graduated from Ritsumeikan University, Faculty of Letters
- 2000: Completed Kyoto Ceramic Technical School
- 2001: Completed Kyoto Industrial Research Institute
- 2004: Participated in Kyoto Artisan Overseas Program (Italy)
- 2014: Selected for the Kyo-ware & Kiyomizu-ware Exhibition
