  • Born in 1935 in the pottery district of Higashiyama, Kyoto.
  • Graduated from Kyoto Fushimi High School Ceramics Department in 1955
  • Learned pottery from the first Nitten ceramic artist, Sadakazu Okeya
  • Kyoto Craft Exhibition Silver Award
  • Kyoto Crafts and Arts Exhibition, Honorable Mention
  • Awarded at the Kyoto Other Crafts Exhibition
  • Tenth selection for the Japan Traditional Crafts Kinki Store
  • Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition three times
