- Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School, 1969
- Apprenticed under Ryōtarō Kageyama, 1969

- Established kiln in Daigo Kasugano, Kyoto, 1979
- Awarded at Traditional Industry Painting Exhibitions, 1985
- Held solo exhibitions across Japan
