Owner's comment
This is a Tenmoku matcha bowl by Otani Teiichi, a master of Tenmoku tea bowls.
While it is a highly accomplished work with beautiful patterns and deep colors, it has a glaze pool on the outside, which would normally have prevented it from being released to the public. Therefore, it is a unique piece with a character different from typical works.
This piece is recommended for those who can appreciate the glaze pool as part of its unique character. It is a special bowl that allows you to savor the beauty of Tenmoku glaze, characteristic of the master Otani Teiichi.
