Elegant Pottery from Kyoto’s Historic Gojozaka
Kakouzan-kiln is based in Gojozaka, a district in Kyoto’s Higashiyama area known as the heart of Kiyomizu-ware pottery.
For four generations, this traditional pottery studio has preserved the legacy of handmade Japanese ceramics.
Their works capture the spirit of classic Kenzan-style pottery while adding a touch of elegance and brilliance unique to Kyoto’s tradition.

Like Cherry Blossoms Blooming Across the Surface
Each flower is hand-painted with great care using traditional Japanese pigments, creating a soft, dimensional expression of seasonal beauty.
Shaded petals bring the blossoms to life, while the warm tones and smooth ceramic texture make each piece feel comforting and refined.
These handmade works gently add a touch of Japan’s natural beauty to your everyday table.

A Sake Cup That Embodies the Beauty of Kyo Ware
Bring a little elegance into your evening ritual with a piece that celebrates the richness of Kyoto’s pottery tradition.
Each sip becomes an experience—blending tradition, beauty, and quiet joy.
