Kiyomizu Ware Tableware by Kaifū Yagi

Crafted in Yamashiro, Kyoto—an area close to Uji and deeply rooted in Japan’s ceramic traditions—this piece is created by Kaifū Yagi, who has spent many years working with traditional pottery.

Its well-balanced form and refined presence reflect the quiet confidence of handmade Kyoto ceramic craftsmanship, shaped through decades of experience.

Hand-Painted Expression, Unique to Each Piece

Each piece is carefully hand-painted, with subtle differences in brushwork and spacing that give it a distinct personality.

No two are exactly the same—this individuality is a defining feature of handmade pottery and part of its enduring appeal.

Designed for Everyday Use

Attention is paid to every detail, from the interior depth to the feel of the rim and the balance in the hand, ensuring comfort and practicality in daily use.

Suitable for a wide range of purposes—from serving small dishes and snacks to enjoying fruit or light meals—this versatile tableware brings a gentle presence to the everyday table.
