気品ある淡紫色の交趾（こうち）に、筒型の端正な立ち上がりからしだれる藤の花をあしらった抹茶碗です。

古来より高貴な花として愛される「藤」は、豊作や長寿を願う吉祥の意匠。

垂れ下がる花房の優美なラインが、筒型の器面に立体的な奥行きと、春から初夏へと向かう清々しい情景を映し出しています。
