Refined ceramic beauty that blends form and function.
Located in the quiet Kutsukake area of Kyoto, Toukoubo Houki is a small traditional kiln operated by ceramic artist Shoichi Houki and his wife, Yoko.
Yoko Houki's pottery is beloved for its charming, handmade feel and the time and care that go into each creation—an expression of true Japanese craftsmanship.

Modern elegance
with a comforting sense of nostalgia.
The entire surface is decorated with floral motifs using Mishima—a traditional Japanese ceramic technique where patterns are pressed into the clay before glazing.
Each flower is hand-painted in gentle tones, with gold accents added in just the right places to highlight the refined beauty of the piece.
This Kyoto-made ceramic combines warmth and grace, making it perfect for enjoying desserts, fruit, or a quiet tea break at home.
