This item is a pair set of yunomi tea cups featuring the elegant Geppeki (Moon White) and Asaka (Morning Haze) glazes.
They are delivered in a gift box with wrapping, making them an excellent choice as a special present for someone important.

Created by Yoshinori Izumi, a master potter with over half a century of experience, these yunomi feature a beautiful red-and-white gradient glaze.
The red hue comes from iron content in the glaze, blending seamlessly with the soft white to create delicate gradations inside the kiln.
Each piece develops its own unique expression through subtle changes in firing temperature and glaze composition, resulting in one-of-a-kind works of traditional handmade Japanese pottery.
The rounded form sits comfortably in the hand, and the versatile size is ideal not only for tea but also for coffee or even as a rock glass for spirits.

Owner’s Comment
Each yunomi reveals a completely different look, embodying the true charm of handmade ceramics.
The vivid colors are naturally drawn out from the glaze itself, so the beauty will not fade or deteriorate over time.
