天目茶碗の名工・桶谷定一による、天目の抹茶碗です。

美しい模様と深みのある色彩が現れた完成度の高い作品ですが、外側に釉溜まりが生じたため、通常であれば世に出ることのなかった一碗です。そのため、一般的な作品とは異なる個性を持つ一点となっています。

釉溜まりも景色の一つとして受け入れ、その個性を楽しめる方におすすめしたい作品。名工・桶谷定一ならではの天目釉の美しさを味わえる、特別な一碗です。
