Pottery that Highlights the Character of Clay
The pottery of Yoshiro Taya is known for its rustic character, emphasizing the natural texture of clay.
Rather than relying on decoration, his work values the colors and textures that emerge through firing, resulting in pieces with a quiet and understated presence.
The calm tones and soft surface blend naturally into everyday dining and tea settings.

Soft Forms Shaped by Hand
Each yunomi teacup is formed individually on the potter’s wheel, leaving subtle variations that create a gentle and natural silhouette.
The feel in the hand and the touch at the rim are comfortable, reflecting the warmth of handmade Japanese pottery.
The simple form allows the texture of the clay and glaze to stand out beautifully.

For Everyday Tea Moments
This yunomi is ideal for everyday tea such as sencha, hojicha, or other Japanese teas.
The rustic texture pairs beautifully with simple sweets and desserts, creating a relaxed tea moment.
A cup designed to be used and enjoyed for many years in daily life.
