Ikkanjin-adorned tableware to brighten your table
The small figure peeking gently from the rim of the vessel is an "Ikkanjin."
The character "閑" (kan) signifies having peace of mind and enjoying tranquil moments. We hope that even in busy daily lives, people can slowly enjoy their meals and tea time. This wish is imbued in the works.
Each Ikkanjin is handmade, and it is a signature motif of Yutaka Takeuchi that deepens in affection with every glance.

The vibrancy created by Kyoto ware's traditional techniques
Yutaka Takeuchi's works are skillfully created by combining traditional Kyoto ware techniques such as Kouchi ware, Sometsuke (underglaze blue), and Itchin mori (slip trailing).
The vessels, featuring patterns drawn with raised lines and vibrant colors, are both splendid and elegant. The meticulous finishing of the decorations reveals expert craftsmanship.

Adding joy to everyday life
While inheriting traditional techniques, the designs are somehow approachable and playful.
These are unique Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki works by Yutaka Takeuchi that brighten your spirits every time you use them.

This is a Kin-sai Kouchi yunomi (teacup) with an adorable Ikkanjin peeking out from the rim of the vessel.
The splendid finish features gold applied over the entire vessel, catching the eye. It beautifully adorns the bountiful grape pattern, creating an elegant atmosphere with the vivid colors unique to Kouchi ware.
