A comment from the owner
This is a Yoshiyuki matcha bowl featuring a white pottery surface adorned with green maple leaves, a kingfisher, and an ayu fish.
The painting is done using an underglaze technique, and the slight bleeding that occurs during firing creates a soft, richly expressive look unique to hand-painting. Lush green maple leaves, combined with a kingfisher and ayu fish adorning the waterside, evoke a cool summer scene within a single bowl.
It is a beautiful bowl that captures the seasonal charm with its simple brushstrokes and refreshing design.
