深みのある黒釉に、枝垂れ桜を描いた桜谷の抹茶碗です。

漆黒の器肌に、しなやかに枝を垂らす桜を格調高く描き、伝統的な京焼らしい気品を感じさせます。落ち着いた黒の地色が桜の美しさを際立たせ、静かな春の情景を印象的に表現しています。
