Owner’s Comment
This matcha bowl features a rustic clay surface partially covered with a deep, dark glaze, creating a striking two-tone contrast.
On the unglazed side, a delicately painted weeping cherry blossom appears, allowing the natural texture of the clay and the softness of the brushwork to quietly interact.
The transition between glazed and unglazed surfaces offers subtle variations in expression depending on the angle.
With its calm color palette and understated hint of spring, this Kyoto handmade ceramic matcha bowl blends easily into everyday tea moments.
