Comment from the Owner
This striking matcha bowl features a pure white Kochi ware exterior combined with a deep purple interior.
Vivid purple irises and lush green leaves are painted on the exterior, while white irises adorn the interior, creating a bowl that offers different expressions both inside and out. The beautiful contrast between the purple and white irises evokes the refreshing atmosphere of early summer.
The stark contrast between white and deep purple is also striking, making this piece a memorable presence at any tea ceremony.
