A Quiet Presence, Rooted in Tradition

Matcha bowls of Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware have been refined over generations alongside Kyoto’s rich culture of tea and ceramics.

The subtle variations born of handcraft and the gentle feel that deepens with use add a quiet depth to each moment of tea.

For Both Tea Ceremony and Everyday Moments

Suitable not only for formal tea gatherings, but also for enjoying matcha at home.

Whether in use or simply resting in a room, it brings a soft and calming Japanese atmosphere to your space.

Choosing a Bowl Is Part of the Experience

At KOTOPOTTER, we curate Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware with a focus on both artistic character and everyday usability.

Owner’s Comment

This design depicts plum blossoms together with branches stretching upward like spears, combining charm with a quiet sense of elegance.

The warm texture unique to pottery is complemented by gentle and delicate brushwork.

The slightly cylindrical shape makes it well suited for winter tea, adding a soft and calm expression to peaceful moments of tea.
