- Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School, 1969
- Apprenticed under Ryōtarō Kageyama, 1969
- Studied under Reika Tanaka, 1977
- Established his kiln in Daigo Kasugano, Kyoto, 1979
- Awarded at Traditional Industry Painting Exhibitions, 1985
- Held solo exhibitions nationwide
