A Majestic Azure Dragon Emerging from a Sea of Clouds
A matcha bowl featuring an azure dragon by Kyoto ceramic artist Aki Takahashi. The dragon is depicted emerging serenely from a sea of layered clouds.
The exterior is finished in a subdued white, while the interior is a deep matte black, creating a striking contrast. Lightning streaking through the clouds is rendered in platinum, adding a sharp brilliance to the solemn scene.

Exquisite Detail in Every Scale
Since ancient times, the dragon has been revered as a sacred being governing water and rain, and has long been cherished as a symbol of strength and prosperity.
Its majestic form is meticulously rendered down to every individual scale, with precise brushwork creating a sense of three-dimensionality and dynamism. The soft depiction of the sea of clouds contrasts with the sharp light of the platinum-rendered lightning, unfolding a grand world reminiscent of Japanese painting.

A Solemn Matcha Bowl Where Stillness and Dynamism Coexist
Based on a subdued palette of white and black, the bowl gains a powerful presence through its detailed decoration.
The matte finish accentuates the delicacy of the decoration and lends even greater intensity to the dragon emerging from the sea of clouds. This matcha bowl combines a traditional dragon motif with a modern sensibility, exuding a profound elegance.
