Shop owner's comment
This is Karin Miyakawa's matcha bowl depicting the branches and leaves of a Japanese black pine spreading in a circle and a powerfully extending trunk.
The expression of the trunk full of vitality and the form of the Japanese black pine spreading in a circle are impressive. In the abstract composition that boldly stylizes a natural tree, one can feel a somewhat modern beauty despite it being a traditional painting style.
This is a bowl that allows you to enjoy Karin Miyakawa's rich expressive power, harmonizing her flowing brushwork and original motifs.
