Elegant Pottery Rooted in Kyoto’s Gojozaka
Kakouzan-kiln is located in Gojozaka, Kyoto’s historic district known for its traditional Kiyomizu-ware ceramics.
This family-run kiln has been preserving handmade ceramic techniques for four generations.
Blending the elegance of classic Kenzan-style pottery with a touch of modern sophistication, each piece exudes grace and vibrancy.

As If Flowers Bloomed on the Surface
Each bloom is delicately hand-painted using traditional Japanese pigments, creating a gentle sense of depth and refinement.
The petals are shaded to evoke the soft, natural appearance of flowers in full bloom.
With the smooth texture of ceramic and the tranquil hues unique to Japanese-style painting, these pieces subtly reflect the changing seasons at your table.

A Traditional Teacup That Embodies the Spirit of Kyoto Pottery
Add a touch of brightness to your everyday moments.
Even a quiet tea break feels special when you hold this handmade piece crafted in Kyoto’s time-honored ceramic tradition.
