Hiroshi Nagamoto's pottery

In the serene countryside of Nantan City, Kyoto, Hiroshi Nagamoto crafts exquisite Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware pottery in his workshop.

Each piece is carefully handcrafted, embodying the traditional pottery techniques of Kyoto that Nagamoto refined during his apprenticeship at the renowned Wazen Tōen kiln.

His unique glazes, developed through years of experience and meticulous blending, result in vibrant colors that come to life in the kiln.

With its clean and versatile design, this plate showcases the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.

Its size is perfect for serving salads or grilled fish, while the well-defined edges create a beautiful contrast between the plate and the food, enhancing the presentation of any dish.

Nagamoto’s pottery bridges the gap between tradition and modern utility, offering timeless pieces that seamlessly blend into contemporary lifestyles.

Each plate tells a story of artistry and dedication, adding a touch of elegance to your dining table.
