Owner's comment

This is a matcha bowl by Ryugaku Hashimoto, featuring eye-catching Neji-Shonzui (twisted Shonzui) designs alternating between underglaze blue and kinrande (gold brocade) enamels.

Though over 20 years old, its condition is exceptionally good, highlighting the vibrant and clean feel characteristic of porcelain.

This highly practical bowl is compact and easy to handle, with an unglazed bottom designed to make whisking tea easier.
