About the Artist

Andoku Kiln

Yasunori Maeda

Born in Kyoto in 1959 as the second son of ceramic artist Masanori Maeda.

Trained in pottery under his father Masanori, and studied sculpture under Professor Kakuji Yamamoto, honorary professor at Kyoto City University of Arts.

In 1995, became independent from Goun Maeda and established his kiln in Nishinoyama, Yamashina, Kyoto.
