Each tumbler is meticulously shaped and refined for practical use, finished with a soft milky-white glaze that enhances the rustic feel of traditional ceramics.

The animal designs are not painted but carefully carved into the glaze, revealing the clay beneath. This technique gives each piece a distinctive and inviting character.

Born into a family of Kyo-ware and Kiyomizu-ware artisans, Sawada's passion for pottery began at an early age. Now in his 30s, with over 20 years of experience, he has established himself as a skilled craftsman.

Combining youthful creativity with expert craftsmanship, Sawada creates original Kyoto pottery pieces that are both artistic and functional. Make his work a part of your daily routine.
