Vibrant works steeped in the tradition of Kyo-yaki ware
Yutaka Takeuchi is an artist who creates using traditional techniques of Kyo ware and Kiyomizu ware, such as Kochi, sometsuke, and itchinsaki.
His works are characterized by vibrant colors, lustrous textures, and meticulous decorations. While inheriting traditional techniques, he expresses his unique worldview through approachable and playful designs.

Rich Expression Born from Skilled Techniques
By combining various techniques, such as the vibrant colors unique to Kochi and the iichin technique that creates patterns with three-dimensionally raised lines, he produces works with profound expressions.
Each piece, finished by hand, reflects the solid skills cultivated over many years and the creator's dedication.

Enjoy Kyoto Handcrafts
Yutaka Takeuchi's works combine elegance with warmth.
Beyond the joy of using them, simply gazing at them brings a sense of calm, embodying the unique charm of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki.
